  3. Erin,
Your family is in our prayers. I have so many fond memories of Steve. These include crazy stories your dad would tell my dad at the law office about Steve’s early teenage years to watching Steve jump off the bridge in Alpine after working all day with him and your dad on the cabin to getting to know him better in high school and in the years following. Most recently, I had the chance as a bishop to work with him a time or two through the funeral process. He was great with people. I admired his ability to work closely with so many people in such delicate situations.

He is fortunate to have a family that loves him dearly. I know that he loved all of you just as much. He will be missed by many including the members of our family.

  4. Erin, I am so sorry. There is nothing that anyone can say or do to ease the sense of loss you must feel. Brothers are our first best friends, and are always watching out for us. I’m sure he still is. Just know that many many prayers are being offered on behalf of you and your family. We love you!!

  7. Erin,

I was so shocked to hear Steve had passed away. (Been in Wash DC for 2 weeks) May you and your family find solace and comfort during this difficult time. Steve was one of those people that made you instantly smile and laugh. I am richer from having known him. He will be greatly missed.

  9. Matthew and I want to extend our condolences to you at the loss of your brother. I was quite numb when I saw this post. I am grateful you were able to fly to UT for his funeral and to be surrounded by family. It is hard to comprehend.
