This is SO GORGEOUS!!! Love reading your posts, even if I rarely comment. All the adventures are awesome. We have family friends who live in Durban (South African, long story short, my bro was part of one of the 1st cultural exchanges between US-SA post apartheid. was a surf thing, naturally. he spent 3 weeks over xmas while in HS and lived with this family. they’re now lifelong family friends). It’s pretty awesome seeing the perspective from an american family vs locals. Thanks for sharing these peeks into your life!!!! xoxo

The jacaranda trees are stupendous in bloom, aren’t they! Do be aware of any roads covered in the purple petals – they will be quite slick.
